Online e-Aadhaar download requires OTP on the registered mobile number. If your number is not linked, the following options are available on this portal to help you obtain your Aadhaar safely.
Option 1: Get Aadhaar Printout at a Center
Visit any Aadhaar service center and request a printout using biometric authentication. A colored print can be taken after identity verification, generally with a small service fee.
Option 2: Order PVC Aadhaar Card Online
Residents can order a PVC Aadhaar card from this portal using an alternate mobile number for OTP. The PVC card is printed, laminated, and delivered by Speed Post after payment confirmation.
Option 3: Retrieve Aadhaar Number or EID
If you have lost your Aadhaar or enrolment slip, use the “Retrieve Aadhaar” option by entering your name and contact details to get the number on your registered email or mobile.
Option 4: Update or Link Mobile Number
To enable future online downloads, visit an Aadhaar center and update your mobile number. This update requires biometric verification and cannot be done online.

Can I use a new number for online download?
No. Only the registered number receives OTP for e-Aadhaar download. Use the PVC or center print options until the update is completed.
Is the PVC card as valid as e-Aadhaar?
Yes. PVC, e-Aadhaar, and the paper Aadhaar letter are all equally valid forms of Aadhaar.
